I have worked in jails, prisons and emergency departments as a mental health clinician and write about movies.  Prior to working in the mental health field I worked for a film festival in New York and interned for New Line Cinema in Los Angeles.  I studied English and Film at Chapman University and received my Master’s Degree in Social Work and Law from Columbia University.  I live in Portland with my dog Jesse and dream of one day owning a ranch near Bend.

I have always wanted to create a community of film lovers in the local Portland area where we could write, watch, discuss and make films together! We are co-workers, friends, family and community members who all love film!
